Your donated laptop or device can help a student, jobseeker, or senior gain access to education, work opportunities, and essential services.

By refurbishing and distributing donated electronic devices, the program aims to empower individuals, churches, and organizations with the digital tools necessary to close the digital divide.

Accepted Items

  • Smartphones (iPhone, Android, etc.)

  • Tablets

  • Laptops

  • Desktop Monitors

  • Keyboards

  • Mice

Condition Requirements

Devices should be in working condition. Devices with significant physical damage, missing parts (except hard drives) or water damage may will not be accepted.

Data Privacy

Ensure all personal accounts are logged out (e.g., iCloud, Google). Power Up USA and the Center for Digital Churches are not responsible for personal data left on devices.

If needed, Power Up USA will provide secured data erasure services on all donated devices.

Coporate Donations

Businesses can donate in bulk by contacting our team to schedule a pick-up. A donation receipt for tax purposes can be provided upon request.

Scheduled Donation Drop-Off

Donations can be dropped off at CLT Creative Workspace: 2300 Alleghany Street, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28208.

Drop-off hours: Tuesday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

  • Printers & fax machines

  • CRT monitors or televisions

  • Devices with hazardous materials
