As a premier annual event, the Charlotte Black Film Festival celebrates Black culture, talent, and stories through the lens of film and media. CBFF is a platform for emerging filmmakers, content creators, and storytellers to showcase their work, engage with audiences, and connect with industry professionals. The festival highlights films that reflect the Black experience while fostering creative and career development in the film industry.
The Queen City Arts Fest is a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and creativity, bringing together artists, performers, and artisans from diverse backgrounds. This annual event features live performances, visual art exhibits, interactive installations, and workshops, making it a hub for cultural exchange and artistic innovation in Charlotte. The Carolina Black Film Collective is a network of Black filmmakers, content creators, and digital artists across the Carolinas. CBFC supports the development and visibility of Black talent in the film and media industries through collaborative projects, training programs, and professional development opportunities. This collective serves as a creative hub for film professionals and aspiring artists to connect, create, and thrive.
In addition to our creative arts programs, Power Up USA is deeply committed to addressing the digital divide through initiatives that make technology accessible to underserved communities.
The Center for Digital Churches is a division of Power Up USA that certifies local churches as digital hubs. Through this certification, churches gain access to digital tools and training that support their communities, close the digital divide, and foster ongoing engagement. Churches also receive access to the LinkVine Platform, an all-in-one digital solution for managing websites, communication, and community outreach.
