Residents Earn Computer and Develop Job Skills Through Digital Inclusion Program: Learn2Earn
The Learn2Earn program is a free, welcoming tech training initiative brought to you by Power Up USA in partnership with the City of Charlotte. Designed for learners of all backgrounds, this hands-on program helps participants build real-world digital skills that matter. Once you complete the training, you’ll receive a FREE laptop to keep — a powerful tool to support your future goals.
Individuals who demonstrated completion of 5 free courses offered at Power Up Creative workspace given a new, 2-year factory-warranted, full-functioning, high-quality computer, sufficient to meet a wide array of goals. These trainings are selected to build confidence, improve self-sufficiency, and connect efforts around digital literacy to resources and skills that could result in better paying jobs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must reside in Mecklenburg County, NC*
Must be 18 years of age or older*
Low-income households (150% of the poverty threshold or below)
Older adults (60+)
Non-federal and formerly incarcerated individuals
Veterans
Individuals with disabilities
Limited English speakers and individuals with low literacy levels
Racial or ethnic minority groups
Residents of rural areas

* When registering, select which month you plan to enroll. Within that month select which orientation you plan to attend, and finally if you plan on participating in person, virtually, or through Saturday Virtual Sessions. ALL OTHER MONTHS LEAVE BLANK.
